Since February, Iran has been facing a hard period for controlling Covid-19 outbreak with the highest number of infections and deaths in the Middle East. Tehran’s denial of the outbreak and its late response allowed the virus to spread widely in the country. Economic difficulties resulting from US sanctions make Iran’s struggle with the coronavirus even more difficult.
