One Nation, Two States: Turkey’s Stance on the Recent Escalation Between Armenia and Azerbaijan

This info pack explains Turkey’s military support to Azerbaijan in light of recent tensions in the region. Ankara has consistently held a pro-Azerbaijani position and expressed its hope for a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. However, the recent military drills showed that Turkey is also ready to back Azerbaijan in any military operation conducted within the confines of self-defence and international law.
