An Interview on the Future of the Ukraine-Russia War with Yevhen Mahda

The ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia has entered its second year, creating a climate of uncertainty. Recent escalations of violence in small cities and the significant casualties suffered by both sides raise doubts about the possibility of a peaceful resolution. With the anticipation of a potential new counteroffensive following Kherson, conflicting reports have emerged. The Russian side claims that the Ukrainian counterattack has already commenced but failed, while Ukrainian sources maintain that the offensive has yet to begin.

We sought his analysis on how these developments might shape the future course of the conflict.
